Adrián Baratech Domínguez was born in Madrid in 1990. His guitar vocation manifested early, at the age of 6.
In 2004 ends «with merit» the 6th year of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in Guitar specialty.
In 2005 he began his studies at the Conservatory of Music «Arturo Soria», as a student of Manuel Rubio (disciple of Regino Sainz de la Maza), obtaining the highest marks.
During these years he combines his musical training with secondary, high school and engineering.
He has participated in several courses taking classes with teachers such as David Russell, Leo Brouwer, Manuel Barrueco, Zoran Dukic, Ricardo Gallén, Carlos Bonell, Paolo Pegoraro, Pablo Marquez, Francisco Bernier, Gaelle Solal, Christian Lavernier, etc.
He has attended as active student to various music courses: «Algorithmic composition, illustration with free software Designing Music» taught by Luis Robles in the CDMC, or «Intensive Basso Continuo» by Pablo Zapico, among others.
In 2011 he won the 2nd prize at the 14th Soloist Competition «Diputación de Toledo».
As a soloist, he has given recitals in the Teatro Municipal «Benvivere» of Bembibre (León) in the «Festival Luis Olano»; Teatro-Museo de la Casa de la Moneda of Madrid; in the Chamber Hall of the Teatro Principal of Burgos, Cultural Centers in Madrid such as «San Juan Bautista» or «Nicolas Salmeron», etc.
In 2011 he collaborated with the Philharmonia Orchestra of Madrid as guitar soloist at the National Auditorium in Madrid.
He has been part of the Orquesta de Pulso y Púa of the Conservatory Music «Arturo Soria» under the direction of Pedro Chamorro, as well as of the orchestra «UAM Guitar Ensemble» at the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid.
In 2015 he finished his studies at the «Madrid Royal Conservatory» in the specialty of Performance as a student of Miguel Trápaga.
Currently, he has obtained his «Master of Arts in Pedagogy» Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana (Lugano, Switzerland) under the guidance of Mº Lorenzo Micheli.
Actually, he lives in Madrid (Spain), where works as Guitar Teacher in Katarina Gurska (Conservatory of music) and playing in concerts as a soloist, but also with several Chamber Music groups, such as «Nebra» String Quartet, duo with soprano Aída Briceño, Guitar duo with Daia Anwander (www.surcosguitarduo.wordpress.com) and Guitar duo with Fernando Alonso Garrido.
